At Blackthorn & Brew Co., every product is crafted with intention, care, and quality ingredients. To help you enjoy your purchase safely and fully, please review the care instructions below for each type of product we offer.

Our candles are made from a blend of coconut, soy, and beeswax, chosen for their clean burn and natural finish. Each candle is hand-poured, tested, and designed to create a calm and enchanting atmosphere.

• Trim your wick to ¼ inch before each burn to prevent soot and uneven melting.
   
• Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, pets, and flammable materials.
   
• Always keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
   

• Allow your candle to form a full melt pool (melted wax reaching all edges of the jar) during each burn to avoid tunneling.
   
• Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
   
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
   
• If the flame flickers, smokes, or the wick drifts, extinguish and trim before relighting.
   

• Extinguish with a snuffer or by gently blowing out the flame — avoid using liquid to put it out.
   
• Let the wax cool completely before handling or moving the candle.
   
• Discontinue use when ¼ inch of wax remains in the bottom of the jar.
   

When using any future home or body care products:

• Perform a patch test before full use to ensure there are no skin sensitivities.
   
• Store products in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
   
• Follow any product-specific instructions listed on packaging.
   

If your purchase includes decorative glass, ceramics, or reusable jars:

• Hand wash gently with warm water and mild soap.
   
• Do not place in the dishwasher or microwave.
   
• Avoid harsh scrubbing, soaking, or temperature shocks.
